Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I

Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Hourly, Full-Time 


Position Summary

TalentWise is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to support the assembly, inspection, and testing of metal additive manufacturing systems. This role is hands-on and focused on following established work instructions, supporting production builds, and ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.


The Manufacturing Technician I works closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment and is expected to maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency.


Essential Functions

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform basic testing and inspection of components using standard tools and equipment
  • Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or nonconforming parts
  • Accurately document work performed, inspection results, and issues identified
  • Support material handling, staging, and preparation for builds
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and instructions

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
  • U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR-controlled facility requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of standard software tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a precision manufacturing or equipment assembly environment
  • Familiarity with inspection tools or basic measurement equipment
  • Forklift experience or certification
  • Experience working in a regulated or safety-focused manufacturing environment


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Required use of steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, and other PPE as required


Education

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or vocational training a plus
