TalentWise Announces Acquisition of Fathom’s Managed Service Business Unit
Women-owned staffing firm deepens on-site manufacturing expertise as industry faces historic talent shortages
SEATTLE, WA – Sept. 15, 2025 — TalentWise, a woman-owned minority business specializing in manufacturing workforce solutions, today announced the acquisition of Fathom’s Managed Services business unit. This marks TalentWise’s first acquisition and a major expansion of its vendor-managed services capabilities.
The timing comes as U.S. manufacturing confronts a severe workforce gap. The National Association of Manufacturers projects the sector will require up to 3.8 million new workers by 2033, with nearly half of those roles at risk of going unfilled. By integrating Fathom’s team, TalentWise adds immediate capacity across additive manufacturing, CNC machining, prototyping, and engineering.

The acquisition enhances TalentWise’s vendor-managed services program while strengthening its contract-to-hire and direct-hire offerings.
